In the April 7, 1930 U.S. census, 27 yr. old Ned, b. in So. Dakota, was living at 1118 Tremaine in Los Angeles with his 25 yr. old wife, Geraldine, b. in California. He was employed as a salesman of stocks and bonds.
Ned and Geraldine had two children,
a daughter, Julia Ann, who married __ Wofchuk and was a teacher in the San Diego school system and
a son, Ned H. Leavitt Jr.
At the time of Geraldine's death after a long illness at the age of 57 in Pasadena, Ned was an executive in a local investment brokerage firm.
