Mrs. Ruhlman
Dies at 73

Mrs. Caroline Ruhlman, 73, a resident of this city for 20 years, died Friday (Dec. 13, 1957) at the Twin City Nursing Home, North Tonawanda, where she had been a patient since June.

Mrs. Ruhlman, who formerly resided at 1320 Ontario Ave., was the widow of John Ruhlman, who conducted a mission on the Tuscarora Indian Reservation until his death in 1954. Mrs. Ruhlman continued to work after her husband's death until she became ill. She was born in Minnesota.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Plant, North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Fern Loran, Buffalo; a son. Vernon Fisher, Chattanooga, Tenn.; two brothers, Theodore Kumm, this city, and Albert Kumm, North Tonawanda. Eight grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be at the Bell Funeral Home, Monday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Charles E. Titus, North Tonawanda, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
