Russell B. Ashley, age 75, passed away as he wished to, at his home in Kearns, Utah on Tuesday, June 11, 1991.

Born May 25, 1916 in Paris, Idaho, a son of Albert and Bessie Hoskins Ashley. He married to Jean Eads Ashley for forty-six years. Served in the United States Army during World War II and then served his family, friends, and community as a caring man who gave help, comfort, and support to those in need. He will be deeply missed.

Survived by wife, Jean; five daughters and seven sons, Laura; Mrs. Ken (Donna) Warr; Dwayne; Ken; Mrs. Tim (Diane) Scott; Russell, Jr.; Garry, John; Mrs. Brady (Wendy) Rich; Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Orr; Wendell; Ron; thirty-one grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eldean Roberts and Joan Ashley. Preceded in death by daughter, Darlene.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, at McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), where friends may call Thursday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
