She was born April 24, 1900, in Springfield, the daughter of John and Dorothea Boesdorfer Harbauer.
She married Leo E. Smith in 1935, and he died in 1978.
A lifelong resident of Springfield, Mrs. Smith was a member of Christ the King Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Doris) Bietsch of Springfield and Mrs. Herbert (Mary) Craig of Schaumburg; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Christ the King Church, with the Rev. Donald Meehling officiating.
Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Staab Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
