Margaret L. Williams, 75, of Newton Street, died at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, at her home.
She retired in 1989 from Arvin Industries where she worked in the communications center for 25 years.
Funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Myers Funeral Service, Reed and Jewell Chapel on 25th Street, with the Rev. Allan K. Wilson officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Bartholomew County.
Mrs. Williams was born in Decatur County April 15, 1923, the daughter of John and Myrtle A. Baker Low. She married Glen C. Williams Sr. Aug. 10, 1946, in Nashville. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Ron Williams of Columbus; grandchildren, Lindsay, Megan and Chelsea Williams, all of Columbus; a sister, Lula Bower of Greensburg; two stepsons; and two step-daughters.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Lester Low.
