ALPHA PIERCE LEA died November 18, 2002 in Houston. She was born July 30, 1896 in Russell, Arkansas to John S and Hannah C Pierce. Mrs. Lea was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Houston. She loved the outdoors, and enjoyed working in her garden. Mrs. Lea was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Harvey G. Lea. She is survived by one son, Edwin Pierce Lea. Friends are invited to visitation with the family in the Drawing Room of The Settegast-Kopf Co. from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. A funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 21 in the Chapel of First Presbyterian Church of Houston, 5300 Main. Interment will follow in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.....
