Born to Allen Marto and Royale Powers, Mary Ann graduated from high school in Eagle Rock, CA, and studied home economics at Pasadena College for two years. She and Dan were married on 13 Aug 1966 in Fallbrook, CA. After working as a payroll clerk for 24 years at INEL Environmental Laboratory, she had recently retired from Bechtel, and had been a long time member of the Altar Guild at St. Johns Church in Idaho Falls. Survivors beside Dan included: children Rachelle (Erin) Quinn of Pocatello and Danny (Darlene) Purkiss of Darlington, ID; sister Joanne (Jerry) Murray of Newport Beach, CA; and seven grandchildren.
