Susan Jane Parson, 51, of Holbrook R. D. 1, died Tuesday, June 16, 1992, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va., after being ill for the last nine years.
She was born August 8, 1940, in Monongalia County, W. Va., a daughter of the late Leroy and Fern Haught Cumberledge. She lived in Jackson Township for the last 20 years.
Mrs. Parson was a member of Kents Methodist Chruch in Brave.
She was employed by Westinghouse Corp, and North American Phillips Corp. in Fairmont, W. Va.,. for about 30 years. She retired in 1987 because of poor health.
Mrs. Parson graduated from Clay-Battelle High School in 1959.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd A. Parson, whom she married November 23, 1963; a brother, Howard R. Cumberledge of Pittsburgh; five sisters, Dorothy Tennant of Wadestown, W. Va., Mrs. Maynard (Glenda) Wood of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Robert (Kathryn) Tennant of Wickliffe, Ohio, Mrs. Still (Jean) Smith of Landis, N.C., and Mrs. Bud (June) Evans, of Brave; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are three infant children; a sister, Margaret Cumberledge, and two brothers, Jack and Gary Cumberledge.
