George Ashley Damon, 62, of 512 S. Main St., died at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the residence following a brief illness.
Mr. Damon, a painter by trade, was born in Natick, Mass., Sept. 30, 1885, a son of Thomas and Ella Daniels Damon. He had been a resident of this sity for the past 30 years. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose.
Surviving are his wife, the former Winifred Ellwood; two sons, George A Damon, Jr., Mineral Ridge, John C., of Bradford, Mass.; a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Harriet) Yakubek, Niles, and two grandchildren.
