Rev. Reuben A. Aylworth was the son of Abraham and Catharine (Crydenwise) Aylworth. He was the husband of Jennett Ann (Ridgway) Aylworth. They were married December 27, 1820. Jennett died February 26, 1881. Rev. Aylworth was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church: New York Conference 1817 Genesee (Western New York/now Upper New York Conference by transfer 1818 F1819 Located 1825 Readmitted Erie Conference 1836 East Ohio Conference at organization 1876.

According to the 1983 Geauga County Cemetery book, no stone was located in 1983, although Reuben's burial is confirmed for Hampden Township Cemetery. The stones in this section of the cemetery are very old and difficult to read.
