William Ballantine Jones was the son of David and Priscilla Thomas Jones. He was born in the county of Glamorgan, in the Gower of South West Wales, in the village of Bishopston Higher which is Upper Killay today on Wernfawr Farm. He married Florence Marie Eugenie Turner on Jan 19 1911 in Rockland, Ontario, Canada. They had one son. His marker has the RCL cross and is shared with his wife findagrave memorial 70398734 who is buried in Ontario. William B was remembered as the man everyone brought their animals to, especially their horses, even after he retired and ran the Chaleur Inn in Dalhousie New Brunswick. We were blessed to have a genealogist to help us in New Brunswick who knew a man who remembered Doc Jones.
