December, 1937, Nanjing, China fell to the Imperial Japanese Army. For six weeks the Japanese killed a reported 300,000 people. These people included civilians & prisoners of war. 20,000 rapes were reported. In 1985 a memorial hall was erected in a part of Nanjing called Jiangdongmen. The memorial contains the skeltons of many of the victims.
