Renowned Argentine athlete. Gained his fame in the sport of rowing, specifically in men´s single scull. Probably one of the greatest Argentine athletes of the 20th Century. He won two Olympic medals: Mexico 1968 (silver) and Munich 1972 (bronze). He also won a World Championship (Canada, 1970), two European Championships (Austria 1969 and Denmark 1971), twelve Argentinian Championships between 1962-1972, four South American Championships (1964, 1965, 1968, 1970), and two Panamerican Championships (Canada 1967 and Colombia 1971).
