Mr and Mrs LaVell Eddins and Mr and Mrs Boyd Eddins of Afton went to Salt Lake City Tuesday to attend funeral services for Capt. John Crane, Salt Lake Air Force Pilot, member of the famed "Thunderbirds" aerobatic team, who died Thursday of last week when his jet fighter crashed on a routine mission in Nevada.
]Services were held in the Holladay 4th Ward LDS Chapel.
Capt. Neil Eddins, also a member of the Thunderbirds, accompanied the body to Salt Lake City and was an honorary usher at the services.
Captain Crane served as narrator and information officer for the Thunderbirds and joined the group on occasions for shows.
