"Funeral services for Ronald L. Simpson, 34, well known in this area as a singer and western swing band leader, who died Friday as a result of injuries received in a head-on crash on Highway 36 near Meadville, were held at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Harry Clifton, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Gardens under direction of the Norman Funeral Home.
