Born in Chula, Mo., on Jan. 6, 1907, Mrs. Simpson had spent all of her life in Livingston County, Mo. She was a homemaker and a member of St Columban Catholic Church in Chillicothe. On Oct. 11, 1929, she married Henry Simpson in Trenton, Mo. He died in 1988. Mrs. Simpson was also preceded in death by a son, Ronnie; her parents, Isaac A. and Mata E. Davis; and a brother.
Surviving are two daughters, Shirley Nelson of Branson, Mo., and Mary L. Ritchie of Chillicothe; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe." St Joseph News-Press, May 25, 1996
