IN MEMORIAM: TONY PENNINO
The community has lost one of its beloved members this past September. Tony Pennino, a life-long community member, was an active member of EARC (East Andersonville Residents Council) holding several executive board positions. He was also involved in volunteering for the elections. As a huge Blackhawks fan, winning the Stanley Cup was a highlight for Tony. He is described by friends as a caring and loving individual with a big heart. His smile and infectious laugh were a comfort to all. His friend Neal Ratner of Apartment and Home Seekers described Tony as one of his true friends who always went out of his way to help others before himself. While working at Apartment and Home Seekers, Tony took it upon himself to help buyers and sellers and teach them how to fix issues around the properties. Neal credits Tony for helping him technologically run his office more efficiently. And they shared a running joke about the disgust for speed humps and that life's little setbacks were speed humps. Tony will truly be missed by all.
