George Albert Cross, son of John and Elizabeth Cross, was born in Riley county, Kansas, August 9, 1871; and died at Kansas City, June 11, 1925, aged 54 years.
He moved with his parents to Jefferson county in 1872, where he grew to manhood. He has many friends and relatives around McLouth.
He was married to Frances Fowler June 30, 1895. To this union one daughter, Mildred was born. He is survived by his widow and daughter, Mildred, of Wichita, Kansas, two sisters and two brothers; Mrs. Asenath (Archie) Brown, of McLouth, Kansas; Mrs. Eva Westfall, of Kansas City, Mo.; William R. Cross, of Mulhail, Oklahoma; James O. Cross, of Leavenworth, Kansas, and many distant relatives.
