HORN, IRENE (HORNBACK), 88, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Rockford Manor Nursing Center. She was born in Big Clifty, KY to Jim and Janie (Hatfield) Hornback. Irene was a member of Shively Christian Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ottis Horn; and two sons, Dale and Harry Horn. Survivors include her sons, Ray (Debbie) and Bill (Deloris) Horn; daughter-in-law, Sandy Horn; seven grandchildren, Dana Smith (Craig), Mystic Burnette (Chris), Robbie Horn (Nikki), Temera Schneider (Danny), Tara Horn, Jason Horn (Heather) and Lori Burns (Brad); 11 great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Margie Horton, Mildred Walls, Charlotte Fowler and Dorothy Young. Funeral service will be noon Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Sonora Cemetery at approximately 2:15 p.m. Louisville time. Visitation will be Tuesday, 11 a.m.- 8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
