DIED.--Aug. 3d, at the home of his son, B. L. Doane, Truman P. Doane. Mr. Doane was born in Columbia county, New York, in 1805. In 1823 he married Elizabeth Emerson. In 1836, he moved to the western part of New Jersey, where he lived until six years ago, when he moved to Michigan and resided there one year, after which he came to Kansas and has since lived with his son. The funeral services were conducted at the house, by Rev. Johnson. His remains were interred in Louisville cemetery.
