OBITUARY.

Mrs. America Jones, whose maiden name was King, was born in Kentucky, August 8, 1849. Died near Edina, Missouri on December 12, 1907. Age 58 years, four months and four days.

She came to Missouri with her parents when two years old. She was married to Mr. W. P. Jones, September 29, 1874. To this union were born eight children, five girls and three boys, who with the husband survive. She being the first to break the circle. She leaves also, three brothers, one sister and five grandchildren.

She united with the Rock Baptist Church when quite young and has lived a consistent Christian life. She was an affectionate wife and mother. She was a kind friend to everybody, always willing to help in sickness or distress. She will be missed by her friends and neighbors, and O how much in her own home. She was a noble woman. How blessed her rest in the world beyond.

Her funeral was preached by Rev. G. C. Kell, of La Belle, at Hurdland Baptist Church. Her body reposes in Hurdland Cemetery.
