It is noted that Elmer Goodwin, met the 1 o'clock Lowell train and brought the body of Charlotte Webster Howard to her brother's home - Herman Foster Straw for calling hours which were by invitation only. Both mother and daughter are buried with Charlotte's parents and infant brother Albert in the Straw Grave.
Coincidently, years later Herman Straw's mansion at 607 Chestnut Street became Goodwin's Funeral Home.
This writer could find no further information on her husband Howard. However her son Albert became an attorney an lived in Lowell, Ma, her son William, Jr. became a teacher and lived in Laurnceville, NJ, it doesn't appear that either one married.
