Mrs. Carl Wolf Died Thursday
Well Known Country Woman Gives Up Life in Childbirth; Son Also Dies; Burial at Bartley.
Mrs. Carl Wolf, 30, well known Valley county woman, passed away in an Ord Hospital on December 13 after giving birth to a son, who also died. They were buried in the same coffin Saturday at Bartley, Nebr., Mrs. Wolf's old home, after short services Friday evening in the Kohl undertaking parlors here.
Before her marriage Mrs. Wolf was Miss Catherine Tines, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Tines of Bartley. She was married to Carl Wolf in the spring of 1920 and after living two years in New Market, Ia., came with her husband to Valley county and this has since been her home.
She is survived by her husband, one son, Charles, 5 years old, her parents, three brothers, Henry, Raymond and Edward Tines of Bartley, and six sisters, Mrs. Margaret Sughroue of Washington, Mrs. Anna Quigley of Indianola, Nebr., and the Misses Mary, Florence, Frances and Barbara Tines, all of Bartley.
Hundreds of friends and acquaintances of Mr. and Mrs. Wolf will extend sympathy to Carl and his motherless boy in their great bereavement.
