Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Mae (Reagan) Padgett, 91, of Livingston, were conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2001, from McDonald's Chapel United Methodist Church with Bro. Edward Todd officiating. Burial was in the Robbins Cemetery with Livingston Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Padgett died Sunday, January 7, 2001, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

She was a homemaker and a member of McDonald's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Born October 7, 1909, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Alice (Choate) Reagan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Padgett; an infant daughter, Rurie Padgett; two brothers, Porter Reagan and twin brother Hassel Reagan; and three sisters, Etter Garrett, Cordie Bilbrey, and Delphia Padgett.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Lura and Ellis Snoddy, Monroe; two grandchildren, Diane Henson and Scott Henson, both of Livingston; four great grandchildren, Chad Edens, Knoxville, and Brad Edens, Laura Edens, and Jacob Henson, all of Livingston; and a great-great granddaughter, Chloe Edens, Livingston.

Pallbearers were Randall Smith, Ralph McDonald, Robert Padgett, Rod Padgett, Ronnie Smith, and Rodney Padgett.
