Funeral services were held for Cecilia W. "Cissy" Cochran, 60, of Lucedale on Saturday, September 13, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Lucedale.
Interment followed at Refuge Methodist Church with Reverends John Henry, Ronnie Maxie and Hollis Howell officiating the services.

A retired call center supervisor for Mississippi Power with many civic duties to her name, such as former Deputy Chancery Clerk of George County, former Chairman of the Democratic Party of George County and a longtime member of Shady Grove Bapitst Church, she died September 10, 2008.
She is survived by her husband, James Carl Cochran; two sons, Chadwick J. (Nikki) Cochran and Jacob M. (Jennifer) Cochran; her foster daughter, Deborah (Russell) Graham; seven grandchildren, Taylor Cochran, Alexis Cochran, Lainey Cochran, James Saxton Cochran, Jeremy Tanner, Joshua Tanner and Jennifer Broadus; and two brothers, Michael E. (Joyce) Williams and Curtis "Scotty" (Tina) Williams.

She was preceded in death by her son, Curtis Woodrow Cochran; and parents, Curtis E. Williams and Geraldine Scott Williams. In lieu of flowers, please give to the Shady Grove Baptist Church Building Fund.
Sigler Funeral Home of Lucedale was in charge of arrangements.
