Scott was born in St.Paul Minnesota on October 17, 1959 to Archie and Ailie Babcock.

In August of 1973 Scott moved with his family to Colorado which became his permanent residence until the day he died. Scott enlisted into the Army in June of 1980 where he served over in Germany for 6 months. When he was released from the Army he came home and enjoyed many days of fishing with his best friend Al.

You could always find him on the playground, park or baseball field with his nieces and nephews. Scott enjoyed days at the Mile High Flea market where he could socialize and wheel and deal with people. On a nice day you could find him at the dog track and on occasion you could find him gambling up in Central City.

He is survived by his four brothers Bruce Babcock of Arvada, Colorado, Gale & Jackie Babcock of North Branch, Minnesota, Dean and June Babcock of Rush City, Minnesota, Glen and Bonnie Babcock of Hudson, Colorado, and his sister Peggy Babcock & Carolyn Fisher of Arvada, Colorado, 14 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.Scott was preceded in death by both of his parents, Archie Jay Babcock & Ailie Esther Babcock.

Scott had a kind heart and gentle soul. He will be missed by all who knew him.
