GARY LEE DILTS
Gary Lee Dilts, 58, of Homer Township, died Wednesday, November 10, 2004, at home.
Mr. Dilts was born September 5, 1946, in Albion, to Leroy and Delores (Blakley) Dilts.
He married the former Elaine Coulson May 19, 2001. She survives.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam.
Mr. Dilts had been employed at Lakeshore Products in Quincy. His hobbies included woodworking, auto mechanics, being outdoors enjoying camping and bonfires, and he had an avid interest in Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
In addition to his wife, survivors include one son, Sgt. Matthew (Diane) Coulson and infant grandson Dante, stationed in Germany with the U.S. Army; a sister, Darlene Watson of Tekonsha; four brothers, Bruce (Dot) Waterman of South Carolina, Cliff (Darlene) Hall of Owosso, and Mark (Terry) Hall and Jon (Chris) Hall, all of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and stepfather, James Hall.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 12, at the George White Funeral Home in Litchfield. Interment followed at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Battle Creek. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
