Carlo T. Guidoboni, of Sun Lakes, AZ, died Wednesday, February 18, 2004 in Chandler, AZ at the age of 87. Carlo was born in Plymouth, Mass, on March 24, 1916 to the late Tomaso and Edvige Guido- boni. He received a bachelor's degree from Tufts University and enlisted in the United States Navy Reserve in June of 1942 and was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant in January 1946. Carlo taught at Plymouth High School for nineteen years and at Bourne High School for two years. During this time he was a track coach, volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America and taught first aid with the Red Cross. He then served as an administrator with the East Brunswick, N.J. school system for 20 years. He has resided in Arizona since 1981 where he was an active volunteer with Chandler Regional Hospital and St. Peter Indian Mission School. Carlo is survived by his wife of nearly sixty years, Mary Brigida Guidoboni, sons Thomas A. (Lorelei Haig) of Arlington, VA arid Carlo, Jr. (Lynne) of San Diego, CA and many nieces and nephews. The memorial mass will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at St. Steven's Catholic Church, 24827 S. Dobson Road in Sun Lakes, AZ with Rosary Service at 9:15 AM. Final resting place will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in the spring of 2004. Memorial contributions, in his name, to the St. Peter Indian Mission School, P.O. Box 840, Bapchule, AZ 85221 (Attn: Sister Martha, O.S.F.) have been suggested by his family. Arrangements by Bueler Mortuary.
