Mr. Grove was a long time member of the Maryland National Guard and the Maryland State Police.
He was born and reared in Waynesburg and was a son of the late Pierce Grove and Ocie Grove Garard, who now resides at Girard.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his widow, Doris Jirdan Grove; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Joan) Howard; one granddaughter and one great granddaughter, all of Baltimore; one brother, George R. Grove of Girard, R. D. 1; and one sister, Mrs. Louise Tudor, of Freedom.
A daughter, Frances, is deceased.
He was a grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Grove of Waynesburg and the late Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Pounds of Sycamore. He was a nephew of Sherman Pounds of Sycamore; Mrs. Clarence Braden of Waynesburg and Mrs. Emma Milliken of Washington.
