WEIS, FRANCIS "FRANK" JOSEPH, 61, passed away July 6, 2011 at Veteran's Hospital. He was a resident of Louisville, a veteran of the United States Air Force and served in the Vietnam war. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Kathryn Weis; his brother, Bernie Weis; and nephew, Dargan Everhart. He is survived by four sisters, Kathleen Weis Everhart, Betty Maddox (Walter), Diana LaBorde (Ray) and Barbara Burkhead (Robert); eight nieces; and four nephews. Memorial service is 10 a.m. Saturday at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The American Cancer Society.
