Frieda Carol Henney, 68, of Azalea Drive died at 10:50 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 1999, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

She was a former employee of Cummins Engine Co. and a member of Free Methodist Church and Women of the Moose.

Funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Inlow and Weaver Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Edward Bennett officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and from noon until service time Wednesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Bartholomew County.

Mrs. Henney was born March 29, 1931, in French Lick, the daughter of Earl Carson and Gertrude Pruitt Briner. She married Carl T. Henney Oct. 8, 1956. He survives.

Also surviving is a sister, Martha Jones of Paoli.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Briner; and a sister, Dorothy Chestnut.
