LEVERETT, OLA MAE resident of Birmingham, passed away on July 7, 2011, following a short illness. She was born to Chester Nathaniel Robison and Rachel Ann Robison on January 30, 1916, in Vina, AL. Mrs. Leverett was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers and her beloved husband, Lewis C. Leverett, Jr. Left to mourn her passing are son Allen Lewis, (Laura), Milwaukee, WI. Granddaughters Grace Ann and Jennifer Elizabeth, Milwaukee, WI. Her daughter Pamela of Birmingham. A host of Leverett cousins in Lafayette, AL. Her family wishes to thank her faithful health care workers; Dorthola Carrithers, Evelyn Davis, Peggy Hubka, and Rose Means who mean so much to us. Also we wish to acknowledge the wonderful care provided by Hospice Advantage, especially Cheryl Gurley, RN, and chaplain Henry Hobson, her many friends, Cheergivers of Pelham First Baptist, the Speorl family, and the nurses at Kirkwood by the River. The funeral service will be held at Pelham First Baptist Church, 2867 Pelham Parkway, Pelham, AL 35124, on Tuesday, July 12 at 11 am with visitation beginning 1 hour prior. Pastor Mike Shaw will be officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Building Fund, First Baptist Pelham at the above address.
