MRS. RACHEL E. MOSHER IS CALLED BY DEATH

Well Known Los Angeles Woman Succumbs After Long Illness

Mrs. Rachel E. Mosher, widow of L. E. Mosher, formerly prominently connected with The Times, died late Wednesday evening at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Baum, 3023 Hobart boulevard. Mrs. Mosher, who had been an invalid for several years, was 48 years old, coming to California with her parents when 4 weeks old. Until her marriage she resided in San Francisco but when claimed as a bride by Mr. Mosher in 1888 came to reside permanently in Los Angeles. Mr. Mosher died in 1904.

Mrs. Mosher is survived by her parents, four brothers, Harry, Joseph, Jake and Phil Baum and three sisters, Mrs. Sam Kirschner, Mrs. E. Holton and Miss Blanche Baum, all of Los Angeles.

Funeral services will be held over the body this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Baum, Dr. S. Hecht, rabbi of the Temple B'nai B'rith to officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale cemetery, where the Women's Relief corps, of which Mrs. Mosher was a member, will officiate.
