Janis M. Watson, 64, of 35 W. Cedar passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011, at Graham Hospital.
Janis was born on January 27, 1947 in Canton, the daughter of James A. and Lucille M. (Lash) Williams. She married Gary Watson on October 24, 1983 in Lewistown. He survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Melissa Henderson; two brothers, James A. Williams and Kevin Williams; and two sisters, Barbara (Roy) Richardson and Annie (Gary) Cox.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Janis was an educator and counselor at Spoon River College.
Cremation has been accorded. Private burial of ashes will be in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
