Francis Duling Maudlin, 71, died Tuesday morning, December 20, in Bloomington Hospital. Her home was at 211 East Grimes Street in Bloomington. She was a sewing teacher at the Singer Sewing Center in Bloomington twenty years.
She was born at Freedom August 10, 1906, the daughter of Ross Duling and Bertha Burkett Duling.
Mrs. Maudlin was a member of the Free Methodist Church at Bloomington.
Survivors are her daughters, Reatha Massey of Bloomington, Wanda DeBoy of Indianapolis and Joyce Richardson of Danville; sister Wilma (Mrs. Truman) Townsend of Spencer; brother, Russell Duling of Spencer; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A brother, Howard Duling of Spencer and a grandson preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Day Mortuary in Bloomington. The Rev. Elmer Riggs will be the officiating minister.
Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Calling hours today, Thursday, are from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
