Joseph Platt Cooke
Birth: Jan. 4, 1730
Death: Feb. 3, 1816

Continental Congressman. Served as a Colonel in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. Served as a Delegate from Connecticut to the Continental Congress. Also served as a Probate Judge from 1776 to 1813, as a member of the Connecticut State House of Representatives in 1776, 1778, 1780 to 1782, and 1784, and as member of the Connecticut State Council in 1808. (bio by: K)
