Mineral Point - Georgia M. Moseley, age 88, of Mineral Point, passed quietly away on Thursday, July 21, 2011. She was active in the church, Congregational United Church of Christ in Mineral Point, and loved her family and friends. Georgia was born February 22, 1923 in Wright City, Oklahoma.

Georgia is survived by her husband Winford "Butch/Mose" (with whom she would have celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary on July 22, 2011), two children, Travis (Trish) Moseley of Gotham, WI; Joan (Don) Mundth of Mineral Point; four grand-children, Scott (Nellie) Moseley, Tammy (Rick) Peters of Madison, WI; Bryan Stevens (Mesha) of Colorado Springs, CO, and Jim Palmer of Wauwatosa; six great-grandchildren Christopher and Melissa Stevens of Glauburg, Germany, Joseph and Jaci Moseley and Emily and Molly Peters. As well as their step-children Jim Mundth and Jennifer Hesselink-Mundth of New Richmond, WI, and step-grandchildren, Jessica and Johnny Hesselink and Cortney, Zach and Tyler Mundth; her sister, Winnie Huddle of Texarkana, TX is the sole survivor of her 7 brothers and sisters. Also numerous nieces and nephews scattered across this great country of ours.

Georgia was very proud of all of their accomplishments and LOVED the flag and all that it stood for. Her out stretched arms giving hugs and kisses was an affirmation of putting love on all. She touched the lives and hearts of all who met her & will be sorely missed.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the CONGREGATIONAL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST in Mineral Point. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2011 from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME in Mineral Point and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church..
