Services will be in Wellspring United Methodist Church with the Rev. Nancy Woods, Dr. Barbara Brightwell and Jack Ware, minister, officiating. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery by The Gabriels Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Creek was born March 19, 1951, in Amarillo. He served in the Marines for two tours of duty in Vietnam and as a drill instructor at Camp Pendleton, Calif. At the time of his death he was co-owner of Spectraflames in Georgetown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross Sr. and Bobbie Creek; and his brother, Tom Creek, who was posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for saving five of his fellow Marines on Feb. 13, 1969.
Survivors include a son, Michael Lewis; a brother, Ross Creek Jr. and wife, Kris; and a niece, Candy Dewitz and husband, Jimmy, of Amarillo.
