Laura U. Gaver, widow of Dr. William E. Gaver, practicing physician in Mt. Airy for a number of years was found dead in her home on West Main Street in Thurmont Friday night about 7 o'clock. Death was attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage by the county medical examiner who surmised Mrs. Gaver had died a short time before discovery of her body in a downstairs room. Mrs. Gaver was found by Bernard Fink, Thurmont plumber and a neighbor, George Miller. Mrs. Gaver was a daughter of the late Congressman Milton G. Urner and Laura A. Hammond Urner of Frederick. She was aged 78 years, 5 months, 25 days. She was a member of the Calvary Methodist church. Frederick. Surviving are four children: John M. Gaver, Aiken, S. C., nationally known trainer for the Greentree Stable; William U. Gaver, New York City; Gordon T. Gaver, Thurmont; Mrs. Richard D. Biggs, Baltimore. One sister, Mrs. Charles S. Price., Frederick, and a brother, J. Paul Urner, Sao Paulo, Brazil, also survive with four grandchildren.

The body rests at the M. L. Creager and Son funeral home in Thurmont. Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock this morning from the funeral home, in charge of Rev. Edward A. Godsey. Interment in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
