Professional Football Hall of Fame Executive. He help organize the National Football League in 1920 and was elected its president in 1921, serving until 1939. He also helped organize the American Basketball League and founded the Columbus Panhandles football team. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1963.
