Jappy Deloris Fouche, age 72 went to be with our Lord on March 14, 2002. Born in Bluefield, West Virginia, September 2, 1929. She was a successful Career woman and devoted mother, her entire life. Survived by children. Charlene D. (Paul) Wiggins, Yvette D. (Patrick) Crook Jr., Mia D. Fouche, and Eunice (James) Jefferies. Grandchildren, Stephen L Wiggins (Deceased), Eric M. (Joyce), Daryl A. Wiggins, Aaron L. Wiggins, Kelli (John) Fars, Adrian Barnett. Great Grandchildren, Saqualia Wiggins, Ericka Wiggins, Darious Wiggins, Adrian Barnett, Dazjah Wiggins, Daryl Allen Kenneth Wiggins, Try Wiggins, Justian Ledbetter, Devin Wiggins, Daren Perry, Brianna Faris, Jonathan Faris, DeAnna Faris. Survived by two sisters, Betty Jo Tucker (Bill) & Barbara (James) Goolsby, Brother in-law Arthur Burnett, and a great host of nieces and nephews.
"Momma Jappy" as she liked to be referred to, was the seventh child of ten brothers and sisters, born to parents Anna and James Robert Mitchell. Survived by two sisters, Betty Jo Tucker (Bill) & Barbara (James) Goolsby. Jappy grew up and raised her family in Columbus, Ohio. She was an active church member at Shiloh Baptist Church for many years, and later joined Southfield Baptist Church. She began a Successful career early on at Sears Inc., where she was an Interior Decorator and a professional drapes and Upholstery designer. She then went on to pursue her career at Lazarus Inc., where she worked in merchandising and retail apparel. After retiring from Lazarus, she began working for CMACAO Head Start, and was still employed at the time of her death. Jappy loved working and always took good care of her family. She loved everyone and was such a sweet and gentle soul, and pleased everyone she could with her kindness. Each day Jappy lived, she was surrounded by the love of her children, family and friends. She will be sadly missed by everyone. God is smiling and blessing our mother, Ms. Jappy D. Fouche. We love you dearly.
Interment: Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
