Perryville--Joseph Homer Baugh, 65, of Perryville, died at 10:55 a.m., Saturday at Mary Immaculate Hospital, Lebanon, after a short illness.
Born March 16, 1914, in Boyle County, Mr. Baugh was the son of the late James Garfield and Martha Cook Baugh and had lived in Boyle County all of his life. He was a farmer and was a member of the Mitchellsburg Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Virgie Holt Baugh; four daughters, Mrs. W.E. ( Wanda) Taylor Jr., Mrs. Bobby (Shirley) Montgomery and Mrs. Jerry ( Doris) Garrett, all of Perryville, and Mrs. Kathryn Greer of Gravel Switch: a son, Harold Baugh of Perryville; two brothers, Allen of Danville and Ray Baugh of Jeffersonville, Ind.; three sisters; Mrs. May Taylor and Mrs. Gladys Holly, both of Parksville, and Mrs. Alma Holly of West Virginia; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Wilder and Edwards Funeral Home by the Rev. Arlis Lutrell, assisted by the Rev. Dennis Hays. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
