He was affiliated with City & Suburban Railway Company as a claim agent for a time.
J.P. Finley & Son Funeral Home Chapel was the setting for the funeral. Final services were held at the Portland Crematorium on Wednesday, 1 August 1917, at 10 o'clock a.m., with interment in Riverview Cemetery.
