Col. in WWll in the US Army Air Corps at Stout Field, IN and was a commander of the 25th Aero Squadron of the US Army. He received the British Flying Cross, a silver star medal, and the Distinguished Service Cross. He became the chairman of the IL aeronautics commission and was president of the Reed G. Landis advertising company. He was the author of 2 books.
