Edmund C. Rees 53, of Coalville died Friday May 10, 1940 of a heart attack at the home of his son, Everett Rees in Coalville.
Edmund C., a son a David and Jane Crompton Rees, was born at Castle Rock, Utah May 12, 1886. He had resided in Coalville and vicinity for the last nine years. He was a carpenter by trade. he was employed in Park City from 1914 to 1922 in the Judge Mine as a timber man.
He survived by his widow, Mrs. Lottie Rees of Oxnard CA and the following sons and daughter; Donald Rees of Ventuar CA; Everett Rees of Coalville UT; Mrs Hazek Collins of Ventura CA; the following sisters and brohters; Miss Florence Rees and Floyd Rees of Oxnard CA; Miss Phoebe Rees, Ralph Rees and Clarice Robinson of Coalville UT; Mrs Lois Carmen of Echo UT; William Ray Rees and Mrs. Elinor Rees Gunn of Woodruff and three grandchildren.
