Wounded in arm 1 Jul 1862 at Malvern Hill, Va. Promoted 3 Sep 1863 to Lt. Col. Wounded 7 Nov 1863 at Kellys Ford Va. Died 9 Nov 1863 at Gordosville Va of wounds.
