R&B Singer/Vocalist. Daniels was a member of the musical group, 'The Ink Spots.' The group was formed in 1935 in Indianapolis, Indiana, but didn't formally group until 1938. The band included, Ivory 'Deek' Wilson, Bill Kenny, Herb Kenny, Billy Bowen, Orville 'Hoppy' Jones, Charlie Fuqua, and Daniels. They recorded on such labels as Decca, MCA, Jasmine, Waldorf Music Hall, King, Vocalion, and Mayfair, and were considered to be pioneers in helping to pave the way for the doo wop music of the 1950s. In 1939 they signed with the Decca Record Label and released there first song, "If I Didn't Care." Between 1939 and 1951 they had a few hits including, "We Three (My Echo, My Shadow, And Me) in 1940, "I'm Making Believe" in 1944, "Into Each Life Some Rain Must Fall" in 1944, "The Gypsy" in 1946, and "To Each His Own" in 1946. In 1944 Jones died and Watson left the group in 1951 to form his own musical group called 'The Brown Dots' while Bill Kenny tried a solo career releasing the song, "It Is No Secret." The groups other songs include, "Address Unknown," "Street Of Dreams," "Do I Worry?," "My Prayer," "Maybe," "I'll Never Smile Again," "I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire," "Whispering Grass (Don't Tell The Trees)," "Someone's Rocking My Dreamboat," "Time Out For Tears," "Java Jive," "The Best Things In Life Are Free," "Please Mr. Sun," "Honest And Truly," "When The Swallows Come Back To Capistrano," and "Sincerely Yours 4 My Prayer."
