TOMICH – Avram S. Tomich of 5922 Encinita Avenue, Temple City, passed away July 29, 1971.
Mr. Tomich was a native of Bokovica, Montenegro, Yugoslavia, had been a resident of California for 60 years and of Temple City 20 years. He was one of the founders of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church and was a member of St. Stevens Serbian Orthodox Cathedral. He was a general contractor in California for 55 years.
Survived by his daughter, Rosemary and family, Linda, David and Kristin Brawn (Brown); his brother, Radivoje S. Tomich and family of Montenegro, Yugoslavia; family of his deceased brother, Peter S. Tomich; sister-in-law, Yavanka (Yovanka) P. Tomich; nieces Lillian Tomich and Vera Tomich Baingnesi (Bolognesi) and husband Gino; also families of his deceased brothers in Yugoslavia, Milinko S. Tomich and Sava S. Tomich.
Services 1:30 P.M. Saturday, at St. Stevens Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 2511 West Garvey Avenue, Alhambra, the Very Rev. Vladimir M. Mrvichin, officiating. Interment Rose Hills Memorial Park. Turner & Stevens, Alhambra, in charge of arrangements
