at Bradford. Son of Ruel and Ann J. Gowen.

Occupations - Wagon maker; Shingle mill; Carpenter; Lumber merchant; Millman/Sawmill; Manager of Mine Timber Supply Company;
Stationary engineer.

Frank and Sarah married 1 December 1887
at Leadville, Lake, Colorado
They were the parents of one son; Edgar E.

Frank E. Gowen passed away in his home late Wednesday.
He spent his childhood in his home state of Maine. He came to Colorado when he was a young man and made his home at Leadville
for several years.
Mr. and Mrs. Gowen and family came to Grand Junction almost 40 years ago and made their home here since.
In recent years he had owned and operated
the Crescent Cabinet Shop.
He was a member of the Woodman of the World organization.
A large number of Mr. Gowen's friends testified to the high esteem which the community held for him by their presence and large, beautiful floral tributes.
Interment at Leadville.
