Anna Gould (1875-1961) Daughter of Jay Gould (1836-1892) Banker, Financial Speculator and Railroad Magnate (b. June 05, 1875, New York, USA - d. 1961, France) She married Paul Ernest Boniface, Comte de Castellane on March 04, 1895 at the home of her brother, George Jay Gould I (1864-1923) in New York City, New York. The marriage was unhappy and was annuled in 1905. Anna then married his cousin, Helie de Talleyrand-Perigord. Helie died in 1937, and in 1939 at the start of World War II, Anna moved back to the US and lived at the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan. She eventually bought Lyndhurst, the estate in Tarrytown owned by her father and then her sister Helen. Anna died in 1961 in France and is most likely buried there. She left her home in Tarrytown to the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
